Production Operator
All levels are responsible for the operation of the lines with varying degrees of knowledge and practical experience. Operators work twelve-hour shifts, either days or nights. Operators are expected to attend all required technical training classes, shift safety meetings and other required safety classes. The duties may be amended at the discretion of management to reflect changing business conditions and requirements at MCG-CFD DIVISION.
SPECIFIC DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE:

Satisfactorily complete all technical training classes. In addition, satisfactorily complete practical competence checklists for level I.
Competence is verified through demonstration of level I checklist tasks.
Satisfactorily complete all training that is required by OSHA, DOT, COUNTY HAZARDOUS WASTE, AND THE LOCAL FIRE DEPARTMENT. Carry out all line functions wearing or using the proper personal protective equipment.
Carry out the daily routines of running the production lines using the Standard Operating Procedures.
Must be able to communicate effectively with the lead operator, supervisor, and maintenance technicians.
Follow the personal conduct code as written in the Policy and Procedures Manual or Employee Handbook.
Exhibit exemplary conduct at all times in dealing with other MCG-CFD DIVISION employees, and any outside contacts. Contribute to a healthy, positive, and safe environment. Promote self as a team member.
May be assigned, and be expected to perform to acceptable standards, any other relevant related duties as required by management.
BASIC SPECIFICATIONS:
To perform at a proficient level and to be fully qualified, a person would be expected to have:
Education: Minimum needed is high school diploma or GED.
Experience: For the entry-level position, some experience in a production or manufacturing environment is preferred but not necessary.
